PCV COURSE BREAKDOWN

Step one;

The first step in gaining you CAT D1, D1+E License is completing a Medical (if you don’t currently have one), you can get one from your local GP or we can provide one at our facilities. We charge £55, at the same time we will aid you in filling your provisional license form

Step two;

Once your provisional license returned we can book your PCV theory and PCV hazard perception tests and if you passed your car test after 1997 your MOD 2 case studies (initial CPC). These are priced at £26 for your theory £11 for your hazard and MOD 2 is £23, we do offer a training package that covers all the relevant content at £60

Step three;

Once your theory and Hazard have been passed you can then get into the Vehicle and begin your practical training test these prices vary see below for the prices on each vehicle however all test fees are £115. Additionally you also need to complete your MOD 4 training and test at £237.40. Once MOD 2 and 4 are completed you will get your DQC

card and will be eligible to drive for hire and reward for the next 5 years

Step four;

Within five years of completing your initial CPC you will have to complete your Periodic PCV CPC which is a 35hr attendance based course split into 5 7hr modules and you must accumulate all 35hr before your PCV CPC runs out we charge £360 per week or £72 per day

Training prices stand at £43.20per hour plus £115 test fee (VAT included) and a 16hr course is advised however shorter courses are available and a CAT D1 license is required prior

Training prices stand at £39per hour with £115 test fee (VAT included) we advise a 20hr course although shorter courses are available
